Information Security Analyst Jobs

The Shipt Cybersecurity Incident Response Team (CSIRT) builds detections, investigates cybersecurity events, leads internal security incidents and digital forensic investigations, and builds custom solutions to automate response. We play a key role in securing Shipt’s customers and environments.
What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide training/mentorship for junior analysts
• Perform digital forensic artifact collection and analysis
• Triage alerts, and perform host and network log analysis
• Draft comprehensive and polished documentation from design documents to incident reports
• Build high-utility detections as code
• Lead complex security incidents involving partner teams within and outside of Security
• Lead complex projects centered on improving and automating detection and response

What You Must Have

• Experience responding to cybersecurity incidents in a corporate environment
• Ability to maintain composure and organization in the midst of high-intensity incidents
• Expertise in digital forensics, with artifact knowledge across Windows, Linux, and macOS
• Fundamental knowledge of core network protocols, with a demonstrated ability to query and analyze network logs in incidents and investigations

• Fluency in SQL for querying complex data sets
• Contributions to the security community (open source, public research, blogging, presentations, etc)
• Intermediate to average knowledge of Python
• Experience performing analysis within EDR solutions (i.e. Carbon Black, CrowdStrike Falcon)
• Industry recognized cybersecurity certifications
• Expertise in static and dynamic malware analysis
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of YARA (or YARA-L)
• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)

CA Pay Range: $72K - $145K
