Eaton’s Crouse Hinds/B-Line division is currently seeking a Industrial Sales Specialist.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $86997.6 - $154275 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:
As a global leader in global energy management Eaton’s Global Energy Infrastructure Solution’s (GEIS) division is looking for a Senior Outside Sales Representative to support the Crouse-Hinds and B-Line brands in the Dallas/Fort Worth market for industrial and OEM segments.
The primary function of the Industrial/OEM Sales Representative is to market and sell Eaton’s products and services to obtain orders that are profitable for Eaton. Meet or exceed sales targets and create a strong pipeline of opportunities for future success. That will be achieved through the assigned customer base by providing application guidance and technical assistance to assigned customers. This role will be expected to maintain relationships with other Eaton employees, agents, and customers including Eaton Authorized Distributors.
The Crouse-Hinds business manufactures over 100,000 products for NEC and IEC applications, including: conduit fittings, cable glands, motor control, power distribution, energy management, industrial lighting, plugs and receptacles, drilling and marine products. The B-Line business manufactures support system products, electrical enclosures, metering and provides engineering services.
In this function you will:
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet or performance expectations
- Implement growth programs with channel partners including recommended stocking and joint sales activities
- Develop relationships with major distributor partners
- Maintain adequate records to control selling activities, expenses, and to ensure proper care of all Crouse-Hinds/B-Line property assigned.
- Quote projects and negotiate pricing
- Conduct user investigations, train, provide support to Crouse-Hinds Sales teams and focused distributors
- Obtain orders for existing products, new product introductions and other strategic growth initiatives
- Execute share gains resulting from strategic growth initiatives at major end user customer base
- Plan and allocate time for sales activities with each distributor, major account, and to each major job, in an assigned territory or on assigned accounts based on sales potential.
- Be familiar with competitor’s products and prices, and continuously increase knowledge of Eaton products and their application advantages to customer needs.
- Create a demand (specifications) for Crouse-Hinds/B-Line products with potential and assigned accounts classified as: industrial, electrical contractor, constructor, OEMs, engineers, end users
- Help to integrate new product launches with marketing and operations teams and provide voice of customer feedback for future product development
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area (50 miles) will be considered.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience
- Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling into electrical or heavy industrial markets
- 7-10 years of related sales experience
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Technical Sales or Engineering from an accredited university
Skills:
- Exceptional listening skills and self-motivation are essential
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience in using value added selling techniques
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding quotas and sales targets
- Organized, detailed oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Skilled in time management
- Strong project management capabilities
