GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

In this critical, high growth potential position, you will be responsible for designing and improving processes, evaluating the technology that supports those processes, as well as supporting our quality management system. Sprout’s proprietary ERP system, supported by an in-house development team, controls the flow of critical processes and materials, is a key differentiator in our industry, and provides an incredible opportunity to have a direct and positive impact on how Sprout is growing and evolving as a company. The candidate will have the opportunity to interface directly with Sprout’s internal technology development team, as well as cross-functional stakeholders, to make critical improvements to system controls and processes. The candidate will also be responsible for the quality control program and the maintenance/improvement of standardized work instructions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and/or support the standing up of new processes as well as the optimization of current processes to increase effectiveness and quality output.
• Lead large, cross-functional projects to optimize operational flow, solve mission critical challenges, and produce favorable business outcomes.
• Interface between Sales and Operations to continually increase the clarity of system logged customer requirements and special processing notes. Measure and ensure a high level of quality as it relates to adherence to customer requirements.
• Flexibility to work across different domestic time zones / facilities / etc.
• Virtual inventory location management, and product SKU maintenance.
• Drive improvements to Sprout’s internal quality management system, in conjunction with the leader of Compliance.
• Leads the development of standardized work instructions, change management, Sprout-wide implementations, and quality control.
• Design and improve Sprout’s operational effectiveness, including but not limited to material flow, and operating procedures.

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in operations Controls / Industrial Engineering / QA / Related Field
• Strong project management and analytical skills with a track record of proactively identifying potential issues and formulating solutions and contingency plans.
• 3+ years of driving successful outcomes in a technology-driven environment.
• 3-6 years of driving successful business outcomes from operational improvements
• Self-motivated work style; able to set priorities and work independently.
• Demonstrable ability to lead and effectively drive change from an indirect position of authority.
