Job Summary:
At Bell we are looking for motivated individuals to join a growing team pioneering the future of vertical flight. As an Industrial Engineer you will support the Amarillo Assembly Center through scheduling and capacity analysis, standards development, factory layouts, manpower analysis as well as other efforts to attain aircraft cost and schedule goals. Beyond this you will collaborate with a cross-functional team in support of lean manufacturing activities to deliver superior products to our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Optimization of current facility layouts.
- Utilize work sampling and data analytics to ensure all production MES systems have budget, time standards, and appropriate work centers.
- Maintain recovery plans and work around plans; be able to assess impacts of part shortages and other constraints and communicate severity of impact to assembly line.
- Support LEAN initiatives.
- Implement reporting tools (Power BI & Kinaxis) to depict historical data and project future shop load analysis.
- Participate and support projects by lending expertise from an Industrial Engineering perspective.
- Develop manpower forecasts plans based on standard loads and assist manufacturing in achieving cost targets by interpreting work plans and evaluating performance.
- Analyze and interpret production line schedules to support manufacturing assembly lines ensuring schedule, cycle time, and cost objectives are met.
- Evaluate manufacturing performance, identify problems, and evaluate methods where objectives are not being met.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent from an accredited college/university in a related discipline.
- Skill/Certifications: IE techniques such as time studies, work sampling, PC computer data analysis, presentation development, Microsoft Office Suite
