Here's What You'll Be Doing
As an integral part of our organization, you will report directly to the VP of Human Resources and play a vital role in supporting our employees' needs.
Administering payroll and HRIS system to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation.
Assisting the HR Director in implementing various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
Supporting the implementation of HR policies and procedures, including benefits administration and claims resolution.
Collaborating with the HR Director on recruiting efforts for non-exempt and exempt personnel, including writing compelling job advertisements and conducting new employee orientations.
Assisting in workers' compensation incident investigation, reporting, and recordkeeping.
Maintaining department records and reports, as well as the human resource information system, for efficient reporting purposes.
Ensuring compliance with federal and state employment regulations to uphold the company's commitment to legal and ethical practices.
Working closely with production managers at multiple locations to provide data and employee assistance.
Promoting employee engagement and fostering a positive work environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of five years of experience in human resources, with at least three years in a manufacturing environment.
Three years of recruiting experience, including sourcing and onboarding non-exempt personnel and temporary workers.
Proficiency in administering payroll, preferably using ADP Workforce Now or similar platforms.
Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of employment regulations such as COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, OSHA, and ACA.
Attention to detail and accuracy is a must, with proficiency in MS Office.
