A Human Resources Assistant position has opened up at a progressive company with an amazing work environment and culture. The ideal candidate would be highly-skilled and motivated. The company has partnered with Robert Half and is looking for a self-starter to grow with them, handling a variety of personnel related administrative tasks and providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. Based in the New Gloucester, Maine area, this contract / contract / temporary HR Assistant position is a terrific opportunity for someone looking for long-term employment.

• Update employee database information
• Assist in new employee on-boarding orientation planning
• Oversee office and administrative tasks
• Use the internet to inquire into potential customers

Requirements

• Approachable and appropriate behavior when interacting with personnel at all levels in a quickly changing environment
• Administrative Assistance experience required
• Strong familiarity with customer service
• Past experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of HRIS
• Less than one year of experience required
• Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
• Advanced in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
