Job Description

Exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist to join growing Bio-tech Pharmaceutical client in Germantown Maryland to assist the HR Director with the talent management agenda including talent reviews, talent data analytics, building a strong talent pipeline, among other talent and learning initiatives and projects. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the values and priorities of the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Assist with performance Management process.
  • Assist in providing information on HR policies and practices (i.e., benefits, organizational development, compensation, recruitment , etc.)
  • Responsible for running monthly HR Metrics and updating Employees’ census in collaboration with the accounting team.
  • Assist with HR related projects and activities aimed to retain and attract talent.
  • Responsible for sourcing entry-level to mid-level positions, screening, attracting, and hiring top quality candidates, using smart and cost-effective sourcing solutions.
  • Responsible for all onboarding processes, including but not limited to : Ensuring that new hires received recruitment paperwork in a timely manner, schedule all onboarding meetings and they are enrolled to the onboarding and training modules through ADP. Responsible for employees’ records, data records and org chart.
  • Provide recruiting updates (including reporting analytics), trends, obstacles, and competitive market intelligence on the local / global talent pools. Assists with M&A and growth-focused activity as requested.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Support change management and training on talent and learning initiatives.
  • In collaboration with the Engagement team and the HR director , the incumbent is responsible for coordinating talent engagement activities in the US and publishing HR Newsletters bi-monthly.



QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS


  • Proven track record of developing and implementing innovative recruiting strategies in a complex and competitive market.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), employee-support orientation, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working with a variety of HRIS System, preferably ADP.
  • 5 years + in a HR Generalist capacity.
  • 2+ years’ experience including 1+ years recruiting experience in the life science space.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or equivalent experience
