A Bit About Us


Our well established legal firm is seeking a Permanent Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in Human Resources Generalist, HR Generalist, or a related HR position. The candidate will report to the Director of Human Resources and work in a team environment. The role will require excellent written skills and the ability to work autonomously or in a team setting. The candidate must have experience with HR Policy and Procedure, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training and development, learning and development, performance management, ERISA, HIPPA, COBRA, FMLA, New York City Employment Law, benefits, and Leave of Absence.

Job Details


Responsibilities


  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and terminations
  • Advise in the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback
  • Facilitate and implement training and development programs
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, HIPPA, COBRA, FMLA, and New York City Employment Law
  • Point of contact for employees regarding HR matters
  • Advise on HR Policy and Procedure
  • Manage recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
  • Conduct onboarding for new hires, including orientation and paperwork
  • Manage Leave of Absence process, including FMLA and other types of leave


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Knowledge of HR Policy and Procedure, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training and development, learning and
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources Generalist, HR Generalist, or related field
