Job Description

InterConnecta’s Human Resources Manager has combined skills that include recruiting best practices; ability to create compelling job descriptions, compensation, and benefits; budget awareness; strategies for employee success, and employee relationship management to attract top talent as the company continues to grow.

Helps educate, advise, and influence issues related to training, engagement, and retention; manager/employee development and training; compensation planning; organizational development; change management; special projects; data analysis; presentations; and recruitment. This role will also work closely with all department heads and team members to identify, design, and implement initiatives that align with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Training in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related careers.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the position, preferably with experience working in an IT company.
  • Familiarity with Zoho applications (Zoho Recruit, WorkDrive, Writer) preferred.
  • Good understanding of all disciplines within human resources: compensation, talent acquisition, learning and development, culture, and organizational development.
  • Experience managing remote teams (via Zoom).
  • Have knowledge in labor legislation and Human Resources best practices for Latin America, since most of our team is located in Perú.

  • Strengthens the management capabilities of the departments by providing advice and development recommendations.
  • Provides an analysis of the “health” of departmental organizations by examining and investigating trends in performance, employee satisfaction, attrition and turnover, etc.
  • Has the ability to execute the recruiting strategy, including creating compelling job descriptions, formatting, promoting the employer in the marketplace, managing applicants, and managing the interview process.
  • Has the ability to solve problems and of critical thinking.
  • Support and drive existing programs or processes to help leaders drive optimal organizational results.
  • Has great business acumen. They are knowledgeable about the organization’s finances and operations, and discusses how talent management affects each.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must be an articulate and concise communicator able to use digital assets such as email, text messaging, etc.
  • Ability to recognize InterConnecta’s unique culture and proactively help identify issues/development areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with and support a global engineering organization of software developers.
