Job Description

Location: Springfield, MO Corporate Office

The HR Data Analytics Analyst supports the Talent Acquisition in creating and driving business value and growth through the effective use of data. Responsible for leading the O'Reilly talent data strategy through data analysis and visualization in order to facilitate and enhance decision-making and data utilization across the HR function.

Essential Job Functions

  • Field Insights
  • Field Performance Insights (connecting People data to store and customer insights)
  • Work on specific targeted projects to develop reports/slides, summarizing findings and trends
  • Leveraging People Analytics products to answer business questions through analytical analysis, research, and summarization
  • Create relevant people metrics, and maintain existing metrics, to help lead the efforts to identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in O'Reilly people data
  • Predictive Turnover Model
  • Creation of People Analytics "Summary of Findings" including readouts, published reports, executive summaries, and detailed results of analytical deeper dive discoveries

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with data visualization software like Tableau or Power BI as analyst or specialist
  • 1-3 years working experience in people analytics or data analytics
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data to identify key trends
