Job Description

We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team! This role will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day coordination of Human Resources processes, programs, and initiatives. This position reports to the Human Resources Business Partner and helps support our corporate functions. This role will develop and maintain a deep understanding of all areas of the business while building strong relationships with employees.

What you'll do here:

  • Processes bi-weekly payroll, HR/Payroll related changes, profit sharing review and submission
  • Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; Rate changes, position movement, terminations
  • Employee engagement program coordination (wellness initiatives, perfect attendance, service awards, etc.)
  • Maintains employee records in compliance with state and federal requirements.
  • Manage employee onboarding and off-boarding to ensure a positive employee experience. Analyzes feedback and trends to drive program improvements.
  • Acts as additional resource as needed for HR Compliance Lead
  • Benefit Administration (communicates, explains, and answers employee questions regarding the benefit plans). Owner of disability and FMLA process including tracking, paperwork, and communication.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of HR department and services performed
  • Manages the recruiting and hiring process, including but not limited to developing jobs descriptions, posting jobs, screening candidates and working with other managers to perform successful interviewing process.
  • Generate and prepare identified HR reports as required
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training and continuing education (i.e.: anti-harassment training)
  • Assists the HRBP with personnel related items, e.g., performance management, investigations, and accidents/incident review & follow-up

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Strong organization skills and customer-service focused
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field; or a combination of education and work experience that yields the minimally required knowledge, skills and abilities preferred.
  • High degree of professionalism; demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive data and information
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of the team, ability to be detailed-oriented and consistently accurate, ability to manage stress effectively in a fast-paced environment, and ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to build relationships and interact with all levels of employees
  • Working knowledge of HR programs (e.g., benefits, payroll, compensation, leave of absence etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of human resources laws and regulations
