Position is located onsite at the Corporate Headquarters in Lakewood, CO
NexGen Technologies, Inc. is a premier IT services and resource provider to various civilian agencies within the Federal government with ISO 9001 certified Quality Management Systems. Our partners include major software manufacturers and large corporations and small businesses in the IT industry. Our team members are currently providing mission-critical application development and support services to civilian agencies within the Federal government.
NexGen is currently seeking an HR Coordinator to perform a variety of duties requiring handling of private, confidential, and sensitive human resources and company information to provide support to executive leadership, service delivery and corporate operations teams. Oversees administrative needs and performs various duties within the corporate office in Lakewood, CO.
Position is located onsite at the Corporate Headquarters in Lakewood, CO
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
· Coordinates talent acquisition and onboarding activities with the Operations and Service Delivery teams.
· Supports Director of Operations with management and oversight of the internal and external recruiting staff.
· Performs recruiting support by creation and posting and management of job postings; coordinates candidate selection; negotiates and makes offers; employee onboarding including processing internal background screening.
· Coordinates and supports submission of federal background clearance paperwork for new hires, as appropriate.
· Coordinates with the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) regarding benefits administration and support; works closely with the PEO HR to understand and disseminate information on new laws and regulations, including working with the Corporate Executive Leadership to update policies and procedures to ensure company-wide compliance.
· Administers the PEO’s application tracking system for candidate tracking.
· Coordinates with the PEO and Corporate Team on recruitment, onboarding, termination, etc.
· Administers and manages online job boards sites and services.
· Acts as a liaison for the employees with the PEO on HR and benefits administration issues.
· Coordinates compliance with the ISO 9001 standard, including reviewing and updating relevant processes, procedures, and checklists as needed.
· Performs HR data collection and analysis to support compliance with the OFCCP.
· Supports the Executive Leadership with risk assessment and management, and implements closed-loop corrective actions identified by the audits.
· Coordinates with immigration attorneys for any ongoing employee immigration support requirements.
· Plans and conducts management of corporate events and various activities to support employee engagement and morale.
· Provides office management support for the Corporate Office.
· Other duties may be assigned.
Desired Skills:
· Experience working within a federal IT contracting environment is highly desirable.
· Experience with ISO 9001 internal quality coordination is nice-to-have.
· Knowledge or familiarity with state and federal employment laws and regulations is preferred.

· Working knowledge of MS Office 365 including SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook, is required.
· Knowledge and understanding of the recruiting process, including experience with technical recruiting, applicant tracking software, and human resource management is required.
· The candidate must possess demonstrably strong oral and written communication, problem-solving skills and should be a team player.
· Strong work ethic and positive mental attitude, along with creativity, flexibility, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
· The successful candidate is required to pass background screening prior to employment.
· US Citizenship, or legal permanent residence, or US work authorization with minimum 3 years of continuous US presence is required due to federal contract requirements.
Education/Experience:
· Associates or bachelor’s degree within HR/Administrative role with 3-5 years of experience.
