Job Description
The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources Talent Acquisition team. This contract position is primarily responsible for completing the Talent Acquisition pre-hire process. The HR Coordinator will also support the overarching onboarding process as well administering the employee referral bonus program in conjunction with other special projects as needed. The HR Coordinator collaborates with Central Office associates as well as field staff and professionally represents Medxcel in all interactions by demonstrating a commitment to the mission, vision, and core values.


Talent Acquisition Support (45%)


  • Schedule job fairs and other career events and provide support as necessary
  • Manage employee referral bonus program
  • Conduct associate and/or job data entry into HRIS and ATS
  • Book travel for candidates and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Create and manage requisitions in Medxcelapplicant tracking system (ATS), job boards
  • Audit information for adherence to defined processes to ensure data integrity


HR Operations Support (45%)


  • Conduct administrative portion of new-hire orientation
  • Participate in special project efforts including HR operational and process improvement, recruitment strategy, and support for corporate internship program
  • Assist during Open Enrollment with tasks such as coordinating webinars with Training team, answering associate phone calls, filtering associate emails to the appropriate resource, etc.


Additional Responsibilities (10%)


  • Assist in onboarding process of new associates
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Coordinate necessary meetings and order office supplies for HR team members


Education


  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field preferred
  • High school Diploma or equivalent required


Experience


  • 2+ years relevant experience required
  • Experience in a department regularly exposed to highly confidential information required
  • Experience in a growing and evolving human resources services department preferred


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • Ability to manage time and set priorities amidst multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening skills are critical
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to success
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and a self-starter who can assume responsibility for an effort and move forward with minimal direction
  • Highly collaborative approach to working within a team
