Summary/Objective:


The HR Coordinator is responsible for executing daily administrative tasks in alignment with company or plant processes and policies, maintaining confidentiality, and providing customer service support to team members and visitors onsite at facilities.


Essential Duties:


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Thorough knowledge of the team member life cycle process;
  • Basic understanding of business unit details (i.e. product lines, departments, leadership organizational charts, etc.)
  • Maintains personnel files in a timely and confidential manner, and pulls requested records for Legal when necessary;
  • Demonstrates proficiency in all HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications;
  • Familiar with all people related policies and procedures including but not limited to: all policies outlined in the Team Member Handbook, progressive discipline, performance management, recognition, termination, recruiting and onboarding, leave of absence, and investigations;
  • Basic understanding of benefits offered and company leave of absence process;
  • Responsible for collaboratively designing and implementing team member recognition programs and fostering engagement;
  • Responsible for leading facility commitment to all corporate initiatives and willingness to creatively and aggressively drive participation;
  • Basic understanding of all employment laws/regulations and situational awareness of when to escalate issues;
  • Basic understanding of DOT regulations and driver file compliance;
  • Familiar with general safety guidelines and processes;


Working Conditions:


While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to regularly talk and listen. The team member will be mainly exposed to an office environment and seated work, but will also be required to stand and walk with occasional exposure to a manufacturing setting.

Supervisory Responsibility:


This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.


Physical Demands:


While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is minimally active and requires sitting, standing, and walking. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:


This is a full-time hourly position, and hours/days of work are decided by the HR Leader and General Manager as dictated by the plant production schedules. Occasional weekend work may be required.


Travel:


Travel is not required for this position.


Required Education and Experience:


  • High school diploma/GED


Preferred Education and Experience:


  • Ability to multitask with different requirements applying to the position
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a role requiring strong computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in office management, reception or front desk assistance

Must be able to pass E-Verify.
