We are expanding at warp speed and are adding to our team – from our sales office and shop floor locations to our remote online team members. We are a diverse, creative, and passionate crew who is always looking to discover and implement fresh, innovative ideas and make some pretty amazing things.
JOB SUMMARY:

This position provides first level software technical support. The primary responsibility of the IT Help Desk Engineer is support customers and employees. This requires excellent communication skills and the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, resolve, and document software or other technical problems in-house or for remote users.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assess and resolve complex problems, provide working solutions and escalation of on-going issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide fast, friendly support to all members of the company, many of whom are on a deadline.
  • Effectively communicate necessary technical and non-technical information to customers in a simple and concise manner in person, phone, Microsoft Teams, and e-mail.
  • Can think on your feet and find immediate solutions. Work closely with the Application Development Team to provide details for escalated technical issues.
  • Database analysis and resolution
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Familiarity with a ticketing system must be used to record, track, and document the problem-solving process. Additional documentation for in-place resolutions must be created and updated regularly in Zoho.
  • Be on call for the typical business hours of 8 AM PDT to 4 PM PDT

  • Monitoring emails for errors or irregular functionality
  • Researching logs for errors or irregular functionality
  • Effectively communicate issues to software developers and follow-up with customers on escalation.
  • Develop solutions and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
  • Provide technical support to diagnose and resolve software problems. This includes but not limited to:
  • Be focused on providing superior customer service.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Microsoft Operating Systems Windows 7/8/8.1/10
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Remote support experience (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, TeamViewer).
  • Intermediate to advanced technical support experience for:
  • Minimum of 4 years of Helpdesk support in a large business or corporate environment is required.
  • O365 Office Suite and Cloud interface;

Preferred Skills:
  • Fundamental knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, .Net, and C#
  • Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and multitask in a fast-paced support environment.
  • Must work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Video conferencing experience with MS Teams is preferred.
  • Good judgment, attention to detail, follow-up, and organizational skills.
  • Fundamental knowledge of databases (SQL Server or Informix)
  • Fundamental knowledge ticketing systems and resolution documentation
