JOB DESCRIPTION


As the Alternative Fund Services (AFS) – AFS Fund Services Financial Reporting - Associate, you will deliver on JPMorgan's extensive solution for hedge fund, private equity, and fund of hedge fund clients seeking independent administration and custody services or to outsource their day-to-day operations. As a part of this team, you will have the responsibility for providing a premium quality client service to AFS Clients, ensuring deadlines are met at all times.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide client and auditors with appropriate supporting documentation for annual statements.
  • Ensure 100% of evidence of review when preparing and reviewing statements.
  • Assist with piecing of 2 accounting platforms to generate financials
  • Manage the production of the Fund's annual and quarterly financial statements to clients, auditors and investors.
  • Assist with audit coordination of the clients' annual reporting process.
  • Review all financial statements prior to release to clients and the auditors.
  • Manage the financial statement reporting process by coordinating efforts of clients, fund accounting, legal, auditors and fund administration personnel.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Professional and proactive approach to work, problem solver
  • Strong technical understanding of the investment company industry including a strong knowledge of the GAAP
  • Bachelor degree required, degree preference is Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Accounting standards and International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Minimum of 3-6 years in the financial services industry AND 2-4 years in the hedge fund industry
