General responsibilities

Accounting/Finance
Pull data for month‐end close and provide assistance with accounting/close process.

Have capacity to perform accounting/basic financial transactions. Can take on more complexity as individual proves themselves.

Bill Pay/Accounts Payable
Low Volume – 15‐30 max transactions per month.

They are an Investment Mgmt firm with multiple hedge funds/managed accounts. Single invoicing split/allocated across funds.

Investor Relations
Presentable. Confident speaking with high net worth individuals in person/over phone.
Document requests/investor meetings. Needs to understand client dynamic and communicate appropriately.
Will coordinate with fund administrators (3ʳᵈ party) often.

Compliance
Assist CFO/ with SEC Compliance & gather data as needed
Detail review of investor documents for completeness/accuracy
Required Qualities
Organized!
Will be handling different sets of data including investor documents, invoice organization, and managing timeline of deliverables.

Capacity to Learn
They are a small firm and have multiple side projects/ad‐hoc reports that arise.

A smart individual w/ intellectual capacity to take on additional work will provide flexibility for the group.

Front Facing/Polished/Communicator
Presentable and confident in front of clients, answer calls cordially, and escalate issues as needed.

Be able to effectively communicate via email and in person.

Strong Excel skills!
Will provide a mock‐excel workbook to complete prior to hire.

You will need to have a high level of Excel experience

In Office Role

Work in Small Office/Small Group in Uptown Park/Galleria Area
a. Opportunity to work remotely on occasion
Experience
College Degree- Best fit would probably be a business degree Accounting, Finance, Economics
Years of Exp: 1‐2 + years.
Great to have but not required
Strong Accounting/Finance experience
a. More developed here would provide flexibility for the CFO to take on additional projects.
