Manager, Financial Reporting Jobs

This position serves as the primary point of contact for US GAAP financial reporting and accounting for complex corporate transactions. The Manager, Financial Reporting performs adhoc US GAAP research and manages various corporate transactions including debt service and debt compliance, equity-based payments and provides support for other finance and operational areas for the various business units.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting (Consolidated and upper tier financials)
• Development of corporate accounting policy and research for complex accounting issues, new pronouncements and US GAAP application to new transactions
• Corporate accounting liaison supporting external audit
• Design and implement effective financial statement disclosure controls and procedures; financial close, consolidations
• Management and resolution of issues identified surrounding complex corporate accounting transactions (equity transactions, equity-based payments, debt service, derivaties, etc)
• Design process improvement and information systems enhancements to support the business environment

Qualifications

• Ability to train, motivate and build a cohesive team
• Effectively communicate verbally and written with cross functional teams
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field of study
• Implement a new accounting guidance and/or apply existing guidance to new transactions
• Technical Accounting experience including monitoring, inputting and analyzing financial data within internal systems.
• Minimum of 7 years experience with a combination of public accounting and private sector experience
• Manage competing priorities and deadlines
• U.S. GAAP reporting experience within a matrix organization with multiple locations and entities
