Job Description
As the Head of Turnkey for the Americas at Siemens Mobility, you will play a critical role in driving the business acquisition and development of turnkey opportunities in the region. With the rapid increase in urbanization and the demand for efficient railway connections, your expertise in sophisticated infrastructure projects and turnkey solutions will be crucial in meeting the needs of our clients. You will be responsible for identifying potential opportunities, driving strategic direction, and owning the profitable growth of the Turnkey business in the North American market.


Reporting directly to the CEO of Siemens Mobility Inc. and the global CEO of Siemens Mobility's Turnkey Business Unit, you will collaborate closely with Country CEOs and the BU Strategy team to implement the regional BU strategy and prioritize acquisition efforts. You will also be responsible for staying updated on competitors' strategic and operational positioning and setting regional sales targets and priorities in alignment with Country CEOs and SMO HQ.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify and follow up on turnkey opportunities in alignment with Turnkey HQ.
  • Give high-level oversight during contract implementation.
  • Coordinate BU activities for the Americas, ensuring effective regional collaboration and communication.
  • Maintain knowledge of strategic and operational positioning and activities of competitors.
  • Responsible for maintaining and administering the Limits of Authority Process (LoA) per Company guidelines.
  • Set regional sales targets and priorities for the BU in alignment with Country CEOs and SMO HQ.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key team members, including customers and partners.
  • Prepare input for consolidated regional BU reporting.
  • Implement the regional BU strategy and prioritize acquisition efforts jointly with Country CEOs and BU Strategy.
  • Collaborate with Country CEOs and SMO HQ to appropriately staff bid and project teams.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Familiarity with customer procurement and project financing models.
  • Minimum of 10 years of general management and project management experience.
  • Proven experience in the Sales, Bid Management, and Implementation of complex turnkey projects.
  • Ability to effectively work in a team-based environment while setting and achieving demanding results.
  • Proficient in leadership methodologies, including personnel management and development, team development, motivation, and problem resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal expertise are essential.
  • Solid technical knowledge of turnkey project execution.

The base salary range for this position in Pittsburgh, PA, or Jacksonville, FL, is $163,000 – $279,000, and the annual incentive target is 25% of the base salary. The compensation may be lower or higher depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
