JOB SUMMARY
The Product Information Lead is responsible for overseeing the creation, organization, and dissemination of accurate and comprehensive product information across various channels. The Product Information Lead collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, design technical solutions, and implement best practices to ensure consistent and up-to-date product information is available to both internal stakeholders and external customers. The Product Information Lead will also be responsible for mentoring and leading a small team of Product Analysts in developing relationships with manufacturer partners, acquiring data and samples, and maintaining and updating the company's database and sample library.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain a centralized repository for product information, ensuring accessibility and easy retrieval for internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Establish and enforce product information standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure consistency and quality across all channels and touchpoints.
- Serve as a product information subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on product-related matters.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings to ensure the accuracy and competitiveness of our product information.
- Lead the creation of accurate and compelling product information, including product descriptions, specifications, user guides, FAQs, knowledge base articles, and marketing collateral.
- Conduct regular audits of existing product information to identify gaps, inaccuracies, and opportunities for improvement, and take necessary actions to address them.
- Collaborate with product managers, subject matter experts, and development teams to gather in-depth knowledge of product features, functionalities, and updates.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure that product information is effectively communicated through various marketing channels, including websites, brochures, datasheets, and presentations.
- Lead and mentor a team of product information specialists, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Work closely with customer support teams to provide them with up-to-date product information and empower them to deliver accurate and timely assistance to customers.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive product information strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives and customer needs.
- Monitor customer feedback and inquiries related to product information and take proactive measures to address concerns and improve customer satisfaction.
ROLE QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED
· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, economics, statistics, or computer science.
· Five (5) years of job-related experience required.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy and consistency.

- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
- Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
PREFERRED
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data tools such as Excel and SQL.
- Familiarity with data reporting tools such as PowerBi, Tableau, or similar platforms.

WORKING CONDITIONS/EQUIPMENT USE
· Work is performed indoors in a typical office environment - not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
