The Role
The Head of Private Market Insights reports into the Chief Revenue Officer and is responsible for leading NPM’s thought leadership in the marketplace to help drive new business development.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support company-wide goals
- Represent NPM with speaking engagements at industry conferences and events
- Maintain a weekly, monthly, quarterly cadence of market commentary and communications
- Stay up-to-date on relevant industry trends, developments, and the competitive landscape
- Present research and findings to NPM clients and prospects
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Operations, Technology, Legal and Compliance
- Develop insights into compelling short form and long form client content such as topical pieces on important macro trends, sector overviews, deep-dives, annual updates, etc.
- Synthesize internal and external data into meaningful insights
About You
You are a driven leader who wants to make a meaningful impact in a leading company that is shaping the future of the private capital markets.
- Experience speaking at conferences, events and to media outlets
- Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with private capital markets, financial markets, or the VC-backed ecosystem
- Possess a strong macro perspective and experience with fundamental, company specific research
- Ability to learn a complex and regulated product offering
- Deep experience with public or private market equity research, ideally in a senior role at a large sell-side or buy-side firm
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including mining data to generate valuable insights that can inform critical business decisions
- Ability to interpret complex business issues, generate multi-faceted insights, and identify opportunities to drive business growth and value
- Self-starter that can thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

- Bachelor’s Degree
