We're looking for Funding Management Trader to:
work on our US unsecured funding desk, which covers the following areas:

• Drive strategic projects and initiatives forward.
• Interact and partner with business divisions, operations, and other treasury functions;
• Manage the projection of scarce resources and work towards solutions to optimize current usage for all areas of UBS globally;
• Manage the liquidity and funding for UBS Group and its entities, proactively keep on top of market developments and trading opportunities;
• Ensure sufficient funding capacity (inclusive of intraday) to support our client flows;
• Manage a broad range of risks, including but not limited to trading risk, interest rate risk, execution risk, operational risk and compliance risk;

You’ll be working within Group Treasury in New York as part of the Funding Management desk. You will be working with a group of people that are part of a global team, performing a crucial run-the-bank activity, managing firm-wide day to day flows of cash and consequential portfolio risk, servicing the funding needs of our internal clients

You have:

• Experience in FX / IR derivatives, Funds Transfer Pricing, cash flow forecasting, liquidity metrics, cash management or intraday liquidity management is a plus;
• Full training in Excel and PowerPoint applications; advanced knowledge or market data applications would be a plus.
• Prior experience within a global organization;
• Prior work experience in the financial industry: background knowledge of front-to-back processes, Fixed Income and Money Market Products;

• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• A critical thinker capable of understanding complex numerical and analytical processes with attention to detail;
• Able to work under pressure and quickly assess the risk vs. reward of a trade/decision;
• A self-starter, as well as a committed team player with good interpersonal and communication skills who enjoys the challenges of a fast-paced environment;

CA, CO, WA, and NY based roles: The salary range for this role is $125,000 to $155,000 based on experience, education, and skill level. This role may be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. For benefits information: ubs.com/usbenefits.
