Metropolitan Commercial Bank was named by Piper Sandler as one of the Bank & Thrift SMS-All Stars for the year 2022!About the role:The Treasury Analyst will support the Treasury team as well as various other departments as necessary.Duties include support in forecasting cash flow, liquidity reports, investment transactions, ALM monitoring, budgeting, deliverable tracking and assist in performing cash transactions between internal bank accounts.Duties and responsibilities of the job include the following (but is not limited too):- - Knowledge and understanding of banking operations including loan, deposit, general ledger. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaborate successfully with coworkers, and management. - Advanced Microsoft Office skills and ability to quickly learn and navigate new software. - Analytical/problem solving and research skills. - Ability to work independently on projects. - Ability and willingness to learn and excel at tasks assigned to her/him. - Possess strong organizational skills.Preferred experience, education, and qualifications:- - 0 - 1 years of experience in Finance and Accounting in the banking industry preferred. - Knowledge and understanding of banking operations including loan, deposit, general ledger, and investment processes. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaborate successfully with coworkers, management, and auditors. - Advanced Microsoft Office skills and ability to quickly learn and navigate new software. - Analytical/problem solving and research skills. - Ability to work independently on projects. - Ability and willingness to learn and excel at tasks assigned to her/him. - Must be detail-oriented and focused on accuracy and timeliness of projectsPotential Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 annuallyThis salary range only reflects base wages and does not include benefits, bonus, or incentive pay.
