Compensation

$64,400.00 - $96,600
Position Summary

Partner with Treasury Analyst and Corporate Finance team to manage the efficient & compliant utilization of cash and financial services in a manner consistent with the objectives of the Company.

  • Perform daily accounts receivable activities, including posting of AR lockbox activity for USA.
  • Prepare credit card posting journal entries, interest journal entries and ad hoc reclassifications for month end.
  • Work with customer service and commercial teams to resolve payment delays, pricing differences and overdue balances.
  • Perform monthly accounts receivable reviews which include analyzing past due balances, DSO, and collection effectiveness.
  • Prepare and monitor accounts receivable balances to ensure timeliness of customer collections.
  • Complete the month-end cash reconciliation and investigate discrepancies.
  • Assist Sr. Treasury Analyst with Concur expense reporting.
  • Produce ad-hoc Excel based analysis where necessary.
  • Monitor daily cash position and check maintenance.
  • Recommend, implement, and maintain process improvements that drive the effectiveness and efficiency of the AR, AP, Cash and Banking function.
  • Assist with the testing and implementation of a new invoice management software and PO process for the organization.
  • Prepare Americas regional accounts receivable KPI reports with commentary and plan for resolution of any variances from expectation.
  • Assist with administration of banking platforms.
  • Assist in the processing of Selling Cost Rebate invoices from distributors.
  • Assist Sr. Treasury Analyst and Accounts Payable team with biweekly payment run.
  • Communicate with distributor contacts for balance statements.
Skills and Experience

  • Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of organization and attention to detail.
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Knowledge of US banking systems and general understanding of tax regulations.
  • Strong preference for experience with SAP or other large ERP systems.
  • Strong preference for Wine & Spirits or related industry.
  • Infrequent travel may be required.
  • College degree in Finance or related field.
  • Ability to legally work in the US.
  • Proficiency in excel and other database technologies required.
  • Professional presence with strong verbal, interpersonal and communication skills. This individual must be confident dealing with staff across the business.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills required.
  • Professional experience in accounting or treasury function focusing on key elements of working capital (Accounts Receivable, Cash, Accounts Payable and Banking).
