Treasury Analyst

FLSA Classification: Exempt

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 plus bonus and incentive stock options

Reports to: VP, Finance

Job Summary

NineDot is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join our finance team. As a Treasury Analyst at NineDot Energy, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company's cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk exposure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement treasury strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving financial stability. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the renewable energy sector and be part of a dynamic and rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Execute cash management activities, including fund transfers, foreign exchange transactions, and investments in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting requirements, and internal controls related to treasury operations.
  • Monitor and analyze cash inflows and outflows to ensure sufficient funds are available for operational and investment needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, financial markets, and regulatory changes impacting treasury operations.
  • Manage daily cash flow operations, including cash positioning, forecasting, and optimizing liquidity for NineDot Energy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project finance, accounting, and operations, to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Monitor and manage bank relationships, including account management, fee analysis, and negotiation of banking services.
  • Perform financial risk management, including interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and credit risk analysis.
  • Develop and implement treasury policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and risk management.

Qualifications

  • 3 years experience as a Treasury Analyst or similar role, preferably in the renewable energy or clean technology industry.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and software related to treasury management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Additional certifications (e.g., CTP) are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of cash management principles, treasury operations, and financial risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
