The Group Director, Talent Projects is an organization development consulting role and will be responsible for initiating, planning, executing, and creating everything necessary to design, hire, onboard, develop, reward, motivate, engage and retain high performing teams across the Open Innovation function. • This will include implementing a systematic and strategic approach to designing and bringing to life the full scope of employee touchpoints, from recruiting, hiring, onboarding, talent management, development, leadership, reward, performance, engagement and retention – including running pilots and experiments in this area, measuring outcomes and leading constant iteration.
  • Designing, planning and executing a comprehensive strategic and operational framework for the full scope of employment for Open Innovation teams, project-managing and operationally delivering each aspect along the way
  • Synthesizing academic, internal and external research on innovative talent strategies, in order to apply new and creative recommendations to organizational concepts and people frameworks
  • Identifying and managing external resources and people-related vendor partnerships to develop tools, templates, collateral, learning platforms, videos and other materials
  • With support from the Head of Organization & People, Global Corporate US, manage relationships and communication with key members of local operational teams on process, compliance, systems, etc., to include socialization of logistics/approach with stakeholders

What You Will Bring To The Team

  • Sensitivity working across locations and cultures, and experience working in or with the UK market as well as the US, understanding local specificities and regulations
  • Alignment with responsible employer values and ability to operationally bring to life
  • Innovative and creative mindset to push boundaries and explore new ideas, balanced with knowledge and judgement around compliance as well as the ability to project-manage, execute and ensure seamless delivery of creative ideas

  • Strong communication skills across all formats, excellent relationship building skills, as well as the ability to influence and assess situations objectively with EQ
  • Background in organizational development, organization design, human capital management or related consulting, ideally with both firm and internal company experience

WHAT SKILLS WILL YOU LEARN, WHAT EXPERIENCES MIGHT YOU HAVE

With a small client group comprised of multiple global locations and functions, you will have the chance to be deeply embedded directly in a dynamic innovation team, while also benefiting from the guidance and perspective of a strong global community of HR professionals. You will connect with local colleagues as well as partners across the world. This role allows for a mix of building long-term relationships with business partners as well as managing discrete projects with clear timelines. You will have the opportunity to design and implement people projects from start to finish, managing change and people implications along the way, as well as being hands-on with operational delivery to bring the team’s mission and organization to life. You will be challenged to constantly seek new perspectives, trends and ideas from the outside and then to apply your learnings in a real-world internal environment, generating learnings and/or new ways of working that can be scaled or further leveraged by the company.
