Group Account Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Group Supervisor to join our dynamic healthcare advertising agency. As an Account Group Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing client accounts within the healthcare sector. Your expertise in healthcare marketing and advertising combined with your exceptional leadership skills will contribute to the success of our agency and the clients we serve.
Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Collaborate with clients to develop strategic marketing and advertising plans that align with their goals and target audience.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, fostering strong relationships and understanding their business objectives.
- Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns or challenges.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of account executives and coordinators, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal utilization of resources.
- Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to team members to enhance their professional growth.
Project Management:
- Oversee the execution of advertising campaigns and projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify and address any potential risks or issues, and proactively propose solutions.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (creative, copywriting, digital, etc.) to develop and implement integrated marketing strategies.
Strategic Planning and Business Development:
- Collaborate with the agency's leadership to contribute to the development of long-term business strategies, marketing plans, and client acquisition initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape within the healthcare sector.
- Participate in new business pitches, presentations, and proposal development to secure new clients and expand existing accounts.
Financial Management:
- Manage account budgets, track project expenses, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Review financial performance against targets, identify areas for improvement, and implement measures to optimize profitability.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional project management skills, including organization, multitasking, and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving collective goals.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management within a healthcare advertising agency or a related industry.
- In-depth understanding of the healthcare industry, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology, or healthcare services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools/software.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements within the healthcare advertising industry.
- Proven track record in managing and growing client accounts, delivering successful marketing campaigns, and meeting/exceeding revenue targets.
