Responsibilities:
International Payroll Processing:
Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for employees in multiple countries, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
Collaborate with payroll providers or vendors in various regions to manage payroll data and processes effectively.
Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:
Stay abreast of country-specific payroll laws, tax regulations, social security, and employment legislation in each jurisdiction.
Ensure compliance with all payroll-related regulations and timely submission of required reports and filings.
Benefits Administration (Global):
Manage employee benefits programs across different countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
Work with global benefits providers to streamline administration and resolve issues.
Payroll System Management:
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of international payroll software or platforms, ensuring data accuracy and security.
Continuously evaluate and enhance payroll processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
Recordkeeping and Auditing:
Maintain accurate and organized payroll records for both domestic and international employees.
Conduct periodic internal audits to verify data integrity and compliance with payroll regulations.
Communication and Collaboration:
Effectively communicate payroll-related updates, changes, and issues to international employees, HR, Finance, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve payroll-related queries and address issues promptly.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks associated with international payroll and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Ensure the security and confidentiality of employee payroll data.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Payroll Manager with a focus on international payroll processing.
Strong knowledge of global payroll practices, tax laws, and compliance requirements in multiple countries.
Familiarity with international benefits administration and associated challenges.
Experience working with international payroll software or platforms.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with international employees and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
High level of proficiency in using payroll-related software, spreadsheet applications, and other relevant tools.
Discretion and integrity when handling sensitive employee data.
