Global Demand Planner/Supply Chain Analyst

Milani Cosmetics is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the Operations team as a Global Demand Planner/Supply Chain Analyst. This position supports the effective management of product demand, both for existing Core products and new launches. The Global Demand Planner/Supply Chain Analyst is integral in the monthly S&OP process, supporting the company's primary objectives of Unit Fill Rate and inventory turns. This role is critical to the maintenance and execution of POS tracking and customer and SKU level forecasts through a strong combination of statistical, business intelligence, and market and industry trend analysis.
Responsibilities:

• Drive the S&OP monthly cycle with a cross-functional team that provides data, analysis and enables business decisions relative to improving UFR and inventory efficiency.
• Support monthly S&OP Consensus forecasting processes, integrating independent demand planning projections with those external forecasts of key accounts and internal Sales and Finance views.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.
• Maintain POS tracking analysis for all new product launches to support company Surge/Maintain/Purge strategy. Support timely forecasting decisions with cross-functional teams based on interpretation of data.
• Reports to the Director, Demand Management.
• Support company service levels of 95% Unit Fill Rate (UFR).
• Assist with Master Data set-up and maintenance as required across Milani’s various data systems.
• Own and maintain forecast accuracy calculations (MAPE and Bias) by SKU and product families for exception management activities. Focused on POS-centric forecasting methods for key Core product families.
• Support company inventory turns objectives through accurate maintenance of demand forecasts.
• Maintain monthly Excess and Obsolete inventory list to support off-price sales initiatives.
• Contribute to the preparation of monthly S&OP deck for Executive S&OP meetings.
• Support new product launches with accurate pipeline and replenishment forecasts. Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to develop pre-launch forecasts as part of Milani Stage-Gate process.
• Support inventory reduction initiatives and the SKU rationalization process.
• Maintain clear visibility of current and future distribution of SKUs by key accounts.
• Work closely with purchasing teams on-demand and inventory management execution.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Project Management, Product Development, and Packaging Development as required to drive assigned demand planning and analysis activities.

Requirements

• Ability to think critically and question the numbers.
• Strong level of integrity and work ethic.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related, quantitative field.
• Foundational knowledge of core, end-to-end supply chain processes.
• Must possess the ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and yet be flexible in an ever-changing environment.
• 3-7 years of experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, and/or other related Supply Chain functions.
• Proactive, self-directed, and a self-starter.
• Ability to effectively problem-solve, communicate cross-functionally and with SVP Operations.
• Excellent follow-up and organizational skills are required.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with ERP and MRP Systems.
• Knowledge and experience in managing demand, inventory, and supply KPIs.
• Experience preparing information for Executive S&OP decks or other senior management presentations.
• Intermediate to advanced facility in MS Excel including the use of lookups, indexing, arrays, and Pivot Tables.
• Experience in color cosmetics, personal care, consumer products, or similar fast-paced product environment preferred.
• Must be an excellent team player with solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Identifies, creates, and implements innovative solutions with little to no resources.
• Familiarity with MS-Access and SQL relational databases
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Fundamental knowledge of critical demand/supply planning functions and processes.

Compensation
The base salary range represents the low and high end of Milani’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to location, education, skills, experience. The base salary range for this role is $70,054 to $87,000.00.
