Job Description
We are now looking for a Senior Supply Planner for our networking Products. The planning team at NVIDIA is responsible for defining the supply process flows, tools, vendor requirements and providing supply commits for boards, Switches and Interconnect products. As a key member of the NVIDIA supply planning team, you will work closely with the demand planning, Production, Capacity & Purchasing teams to align supply, and work on priorities for Networking kit products. This individual should also apply a continuous improvement/growth mindset and use industry best practices to optimize overall performance.
What you'll be doing:
  • Act as the critical link within Operations to Demand Planning and the Business Units to set priorities and supply strategies.
  • Own operations' supply commitment for multiple networking products like Adapters, Switches and Interconnect that the rest of NVIDIA will rely on to make customer and revenue commitments.
  • Guard NVIDIA's liability by working to reduce excess and tightly coordinating with the BU on demand and flexibility trade-offs to ensue every additional liability generated has been carefully weighed.
  • Often, there will be capacity, materials, and production issues that will prevent satisfying all demand. You will be planning's person in charge to determine tradeoff options and work with internal partners to craft the efficient plan.
  • At NVIDIA, we keep striving for continuous improvement with our partners. Our team will provide suggestions to the management team of NVIDIA and its subcontractors on how to pursue a higher performance level on our Key Performance Indexes.
  • Analyze demand shortfalls and changes in supply to prepare a weekly supply summary to management.
  • Craft an optimized requested production schedule considering lot-sizing, priorities, constraints for NVIDIA's execution teams and contract manufacturers globally.
What we need to see:
  • Experience in supply chain management and planning system implementation. An in-depth understanding of MRP concepts and systems such as SAP / APO.
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or relevant areas or equivalent experience.
  • Personality: highly organized, detailed orientated, a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership.
  • 5+ years of working experience in the semiconductor planning field.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, organizational, and quantitative skills - Proven track record to automate and improve processes and inspire changes cross-functionally to get the results.

  • Direct experience with build-to-order and configure-to-order products and associated supply-chain.
  • To lead internal and external team members with interpersonal skills to establish preventive action plans that can improve the overall performance of the company.
  • To demonstrate consistently the ability to drive solutions to real world operational problems that hinder our ability to hit the goals.
  • Capability to independently analyze and understand problem at hand and derive meaningful plan for improvement and influence management decisions.

The base salary range is $84,000 - $166,750. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
