Supply Chain Analyst Jobs

Position Overview: As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and enhancing the efficiency of our supply chain operations. Your analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills will contribute to the seamless flow of products from suppliers to customers. By analyzing data, identifying trends, and implementing strategies, you will help us make informed decisions that drive cost savings, improve inventory management, and ensure timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and implement process enhancements to streamline supply chain processes, reduce lead times, and increase overall operational efficiency
• Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance the supply chain processes
• Develop and maintain supply chain models, simulations, and scenarios to evaluate the impact of different strategies and decisions
• Provide support for ad hoc supply chain projects and initiatives as required
• Monitor inventory levels, demand patterns, and production schedules to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to identify supply chain trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement
• Assist in the development of forecasting and demand planning methodologies to ensure accurate inventory management and meet customer demand
• Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate key performance indicators and actionable insights to management
• Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions and work to implement corrective and preventive actions
• Work with suppliers to establish collaborative relationships, monitor supplier performance, and drive improvements in terms of quality, lead times, and costs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and operations, to ensure alignment and efficient communication
• Evaluate and propose changes to distribution networks, transportation methods, and warehousing strategies to optimize the supply chain

Requirements

• Familiarity with supply chain management software and systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS)
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities
• Knowledge of supply chain concepts, forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management
• Proven experience as a supply chain analyst or in a similar analytical role
• Experience with supply chain optimization and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) is a plus
• Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations research, business analytics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and using tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software
