Job Description

Full-service events company looking for a part time events assistant to work directly with owner. Seeking an upbeat, outgoing employee who can work well in a fast-paced atmosphere. Candidate must be able to take initiative, be detail oriented, eager and passionate, interested in the events and hospitality industry, with a positive attitude and a very organized and tech Savvy person. This position is perfect for a college student or recent graduate.

In this position, you will get amazing hands-on experience producing events for social and corporate clients.This candidate should be a go-getter, a team player and possess great communication skills., both oral and written.

Ability to grow within the company.

Responsibilities

- Assist owner with all day-to-day tasks

- Excellent with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

- Manage and maintain calendar

- Ability to Multitask

- Work on all details leading up the events, plus day of needs and post event recaps

- Maintain and expand client relationships

- Build clients through outreach by phone and email

- Develop and execute creative marketing and promotional campaigns

- Correspond and follow up with clients

- Maintain various excel spreadsheets, create daily reports, recaps and logs

- Assist with new business and outreach

- Data research and input

- Other miscellaneous office work/ duties

- Ability to create and design jpegs, for social media posts and email campaigns

- Event Set up, Day of Assistance and Event Logistics

Requirements

- Strong interest in the event planning, hospitality and/or marketingfield

- Ability to work some weekends and evening hours(Non-Traditional Hours)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution

- Superior organizational skills and ability to multi-task

- Ability to meet goals and deadlines in a timely fashion

- Enthusiasm to learn and be a team player

- Must be a true go-getter and self-starter

- Love talking to people and making new contacts

- Proficient with e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs and social media outlets
