Job Description
Bloom Talent is partnering with a well-respected VC Firm based in Palo Alto that is looking to hire an Front Office Coordinator for their super chic office. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate and/or someone looking to grow in their administrative career. This role is the gatekeeper and first impression for the firm so it is super important that this person has good customer service skills, problem-solving and intuitive ability. This person will also get to help with events, marketing projects, and onboarding! 65-70k+ DOE plus bonus and great benefits including a 401k. Must be based in the Peninsula as this is an in-office job 5 days a week.


Reponsibilities


  • Coordinate and set up meetings.
  • Answer phones and greet guests.
  • Support the work of other team members in order to help balance the office workload, including providing backup support to other administrative activities as required.
  • Sort mail and handle office supply orders.
  • Coordinate with building management for anything related to facilities
  • Troubleshoot office equipment and assist with IT requests (in conjunction with company's IT provider).
  • Maintain the kitchen and conference rooms.


Qualifications


  • Well-organized, dedicated, reliable, and flexible.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel .
  • Ability to assist with in-office or local after-hour events.
  • Extremely detail-oriented.
  • Quick learner and quick on your feet.
  • Polished and professional telephone and in-person etiquette.
  • Proven calendar management skills with experience scheduling meetings and appointments.
  • Direct and open communication skills.
  • Works well with numerous personality types.
  • Ability to take the initiative in completing assigned work and projects.
  • Tech savvy.
  • A self-starter capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing.
  • Enthusiastic and personable.
  • The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative-related tasks.
