Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Front Office Coordinator to join our team. If you love creating spaces where your colleagues can focus, collaborate and do their best work, you might be a great fit for this role!

Anthropic is an AI safety and research company that’s working to build reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our customers and for society as a whole. Our interdisciplinary team has experience across ML, physics, policy, business and product.

Responsibilities:

  • Calendar management. Making sure to notify when there are service needs or planned visiting personnel that overlap with office holidays or highly-sensitive events
  • Greeting and managing our visitors and contractors. You’ll be the first impression for our guests and work with security to help track and greet visitors, and make them feel welcome. You’ll also be escorting and directing vendor contractors who are here to do one-off and recurring tasks to ensure compliance with our policies
  • Delivery and mail management, including Amazon deliveries, larger office deliveries, staff and priority mail, shipping requests, and tracking delivery requests and returns

  • Have a service and solution-based mindset/internal customer orientation, and are excited to take on essential but behind-the-scenes tasks so others can do impactful work
  • Enjoy rolling up your sleeves and handling day-to-day tasks as they arise – no task is too big or too small

Strong candidates may also:

  • Have previous hospitality experience
  • Have 1-2 years of experience as an office assistant, coordinator, or similar
  • Have previous experience working with vendors or security systems
  • Exhibit an interest in or passion for AI
  • Speak more than one language

Candidates need not have:

  • Proficiency in computer science
  • Previous experience working with AI directly

Annual Salary (USD)

  • The expected salary range for this position is $115k-$160k.
Logistics
Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect this role to be in our office 4-5 days per week.

Compensation and Benefits*
Anthropic’s compensation package consists of three elements: salary, equity, and benefits. We are committed to pay fairness and aim for these three elements collectively to be highly competitive with market rates.

Equity - On top of this position's salary (listed above), equity will be a major component of the total compensation. We aim to offer higher-than-average equity compensation for a company of our size, and communicate equity amounts at the time of offer issuance.
