The role

As the FP&A Manager for North America you are responsible for the overall coordination of month-end managerial reporting, forecasting, planning and budgeting processes for North America. Provide high quality management information on business drivers and key metrics, enabling fact-based decisions at both territory and regional leadership level.

Further responsibilities include:

  • Design and execute planning and performance measurement framework in support and alignment of short and long-term financial goals.
  • Responsibility for driving financial transparency, standardization of reporting across the region, provide insight and analysis into business drivers and key metrics bridging with savviness and system expertise the information from financial systems of North America (legacy tools and AS400) into managerial system, currently Wavin BPC and Orbia Finance Point.
  • Flagging and investigating financial and operational performance variance issues and assisting business leaders in taking appropriate corrective actions.
  • Oversee development and reporting of financial package and performance management dashboards whilst aligning the definitions and accounts across different territories.
  • Identify, simplify and implement process re-engineering opportunities through automation, standardization, and innovation.
  • Manage the training, development and workload of planning & reporting team staff.
  • Coordinating the forecast, planning & business control cycle, including monthly managerial reporting packs, preparation of review meetings, budgeting and strategic planning for North America.
  • Work directly with territories with detailed, bottom-up budgets and forecasts to support short-term and long- term strategic planning for the region.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement cycle of the North America Finance function.
  • Support our finance team in M&A related tasks.
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of reported results and reconciliation vs budget, forecast and prior year.


Competencies

  • Proactive, able to multi-task under dynamic environment with high sense of urgency and ability to prioritize..
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, other languages such as Spanish are beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 25%)
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP ECC/S4Hana) and databases and reporting/analysis packages (such as SAP BPC Suite or Central Finance).
  • Experience in building scalable financial planning, analysis and reporting models and processes to facilitate company growth.
  • University degree in finance/ economics, accounting or equivalent is preferred.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail, accuracy and accountability balanced with educated business judgment.
  • Several years of relevant experience in finance business partnering, planning and management reporting roles or dedicated FP&A roles.
  • IFRS accounting and reporting experience.
