Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Filmmaking or a related field
A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in the field
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere; Adobe Certified Instructor status is a plus
Familiarity with both HD and 4K footage, as well as professional editing workflows
Strong understanding of editing techniques and craftsmanship
Teaching experience is advantageous, though not mandatory
Role Overview
As a member of our dedicated faculty, you will contribute to our collaborative and supportive learning environment. You will work alongside fellow industry professionals, including Oscar nominees and Emmy Award winners, to empower students to find their unique creative voices.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Dean to develop engaging curricula for each course
Cultivate an environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm
Provide mentorship and guidance to students to foster their growth and excellence
Execute teaching duties professionally and punctually
Coordinate with the administration on attendance records and grading
Collaborate effectively with Teaching Assistants (TAs)
Conduct one-on-one sessions with students to offer personalized support
Craft and refine course syllabi to ensure comprehensive learning experiences
Additional Information
The Spring 2022 semester spans 15 weeks
Faculty members are expected to commit a minimum of 6 hours per week to teaching
Remote teaching experience is valued as many classes are conducted online

Compensation
Hourly compensation ranges between $50 and $60
