Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Build, train, and retain a world-class, high performing property management team.
  • Oversee strategic real estate portfolio management, facilities transactions, Cap ex improvements, REAC, EIV, and agency inspections, and workplace operations.
  • Lead and energize the regional and field operating organization.
  • Meet or exceed property business plan objectives.
  • Advance the culture of ownership, accountability, discipline, innovation, transparency, and collaboration with an ethical value system that emphasizes integrity and honesty in all dealings.
  • Lead and enhance the company’s customer experience initiative to provide excellent service to our residents and colleagues.
  • Contribute as a key member of the senior management team, bringing strategic operational acumen and business judgment to the team.
  • Engage with colleagues in marketing, training, IT, facilities, and asset management to define and deliver support to the operating team.
  • Set concrete/measurable performance goals for each asset and team member.


Qualifications The ideal candidate will bring approximately 10 years of affordable multifamily operations leadership experience. Financially sophisticated, this individual will have outstanding leadership skills with the ability to attract, mentor, train and retain exceptional people. Intellectually curious in nature, this individual will constantly seek better ways of doing things, all while maintaining a calm and steady hand. The successful candidate will be collaborative, entrepreneurial, and team oriented, embodying a passionate and focused leadership style to inspire a high level of business performance.


He/She/They must be innovative and be able to drive ideas to action plans. This person will be a strong leader and have demonstrated a creative approach to driving NOI from both the income and expense sides. This means a strong appreciation of marketing techniques, software and strategies, ancillary income generation and yield management tools and techniques. This individual must have the ability to work amongst a variety of disciplines and coordinate them to drive property and team performance.
