Job Description

Our Mission

The Humane Rescue Alliance protects animals, supports families, and advocates for positive change to create a world where all animals can thrive. We enrich the humanity of our communities by promoting compassion and encouraging people to find joy, comfort, and companionship through the love and appreciation of animals.

A Workplace Where People Can Flourish

While our mission is focused on creating a world where all animals can thrive, HRA is focused on becoming a workplace where people can thrive.

We are in a pivotal moment in animal welfare – how we serve our communities and how we staff our organization is rapidly changing. To meet the challenge of this moment, HRA is creating a workplace that values learning and being entrepreneurial while achieving results for the communities we serve.

HRA has a long-term commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion with a focus on more closely reflecting the racial identities of the communities we serve. We're doing so strategically, rather than simply checking a few diversity boxes – from providing team leaders with better management tools that incorporate inclusion, to removing barriers in our recruiting and hiring processes, to increasing internal promotion opportunities for all staff and beyond. We’re becoming a place of welcome and inclusion for people of all genders, races, ethnicities, national origins, ages, sexual orientations or identities, education, or abilities. Come join us!
