Position Overview:


CaryRx is seeking a seasoned and results-driven Vice President of Business Development with extensive experience in the pharmacy and healthcare sectors. As the Vice President of Business Development, you will be instrumental in driving our growth strategy, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding our presence in the healthcare industry. Your deep understanding of pharmacy and healthcare dynamics, coupled with your proven track record in business development, will play a pivotal role in realizing our mission to revolutionize healthcare accessibility and delivery.


Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of partnerships and the delivery of exceptional solutions
  • Relationship Management:
  • Forge alliances with pharmaceutical manufacturers, health plans, and other key stakeholders to expand CaryRx's network and market presence
  • Negotiations and Agreements:
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, nurturing their professional growth
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical executives, health plan leaders, and other key decision-makers
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships within the pharmacy and healthcare landscape, leveraging your industry expertise to drive revenue growth
  • Translate market insights into actionable business strategies that position CaryRx as an industry leader
  • Lead the expansion into new markets and geographic regions, adapting strategies to address specific market needs
  • Build and lead a high-performing business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
  • Market Analysis:
  • Team Leadership:
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities in the pharmacy and healthcare sectors
  • Strategic Partnerships:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans, aligning with CaryRx's vision and objectives for healthcare transformation
  • Business Expansion:
  • Lead negotiations for partnership agreements, contracts, and other business arrangements, ensuring alignment with CaryRx's goals and values


Requirements


Minimum Qualifications


  • Leadership experience in building and managing high-performing business development teams
  • Proven track record of success in business development within the pharmacy and healthcare sectors, with a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in forging partnerships, driving revenue growth, and expanding market reach within the healthcare industry
  • Strong network of contacts and relationships within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies
  • Deep understanding of pharmacy operations, healthcare regulations, and market trends


Preferred Qualifications


  • Knowledge of digital health solutions and technological advancements shaping the healthcare landscape
  • Previous experience in leadership roles within pharmacy chains, healthcare startups, or pharmaceutical manufacturers
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance, including HIPAA and FDA guidelines
  • Proven success in driving business growth through innovative approaches and disruptive solutions
  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications in Business or Healthcare Administration
