Greysteel is seeking an Executive Vice President (EVP) - Operations to help position the business for its next chapter of growth. As a successful candidate, you will be equally comfortable interfacing with executives as rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty to solve problems. As EVP (Integrator), you’ll execute the business plan and achieve results by leading, managing, and holding the team accountable for agreed upon commitments. You’ll remove obstacles and barriers, manage major projects, standardize, and systematize work, and integrate all major functions of the business. You’ll work with the CEO to filter and translate ideas into the functional plans of the business. The EVP will report to the CEO and have responsibility for managing all areas of the business including Transaction Operations, Business Administration, Training / Development, Technology and Vendor Management. As an enterprise that is leveraging EOS, you will also gain in-depth experience in this rapidly growing and widely accepted operating discipline and own the vital role of Integrator.


Responsibilities


  • Ensures the leadership team is healthy, functional, and cohesive
  • Partner with the CEO (Visionary) and leadership team on short and long-term planning with a focus on execution of the business plan
  • Ensures that everyone is truly following, and adhering too, the company’s core processes and operating system with consistency. Demonstrates effective project management and continuous improvement skills. Uses both skills to evolve our core processes
  • Own the leadership team scorecard and leverage it to proactively identify issues
  • Evaluate, filter, and translate CEO business ideas into functional plans for the company
  • Dependably demonstrates a relentless obsession with values alignment, focus, simplicity, and clarity
  • Resolves issues quickly and effectively - seeing real problems, being comfortable with conflict, calling out the problems, and solving the problems in a practical and healthy manner.
  • Integrates all major operating functions of the business using the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). Ensures everyone is rowing together in the same direction.
  • Confirms that all key messages are properly and consistently cascaded across the organization. Inherently ensures that everyone is in the know. Verifies that a high level of effective communication exists throughout the organization
  • Leads, manages, and holds the leadership team accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments
Qualifications


  • Collaborative nature as demonstrated by management experience across multiple departments and disciplines
  • 5+ years senior project management experience, preferably in real estate, finance, or professional services
  • Experience leading a geographically distributed workforce
  • A “player-coach” who can both manage teams and get into the weeds when necessary
  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • Something about experience managing and/or implementing company training programs
  • Highly analytical; able to make data-driven decisions and establish effective metrics
  • Maintains a successful track record of managing multiple dynamic projects at the same time
  • Something about experience working w/ our tool suite, technical proficiency, and technical project management experience
