Position Overview
The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing proactive, accurate, and effective support to the President and the Executive function. The Executive Assistant is a supportive force who empowers our executives and streamlines information flow. The ideal candidate will be a highly-organized problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. The role is expected to be primarily on-site with an opportunity for hybrid work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage League-related administrative responsibilities, including keeping key contacts’ information up to date, “filling” communications and memos, etc.
- Serve as primary administrative and logistics SSE liaison to ownership (for event days and non-event days)
- Provide administrative and office support for the executive function, including managing the executive budget
- Attend leadership meetings to take minutes and ensure timely follow up of action items
- Travel to away games and/or other events to support the President and ownership as necessary
- Manage the President’s expense reimbursement and travel logistics and activities, including accommodations, transportation, and other expenses
- Manage professional and personal scheduling for the President, including agendas, email, phone calls, client management, and other SSE logistics
- Support organizational-wide meetings (i.e., monthly Team Teal meetings), events and/or communications
- Organize executive communications and plan executive-related events, both internal and off-site
- Other duties as assigned
- Serve as “white glove” VIP concierge for Sharks VIPs (including ownership, government officials, key partners/members, and guests of ownership, etc.)
- Coordinate complex scheduling and calendar management, as well as content and flow of information to executives, and serve as primary lead on Team Teal Organization Calendar management
- Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in developing internal processes
- Ability to work occasional extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools and an aptitude for learning new software and systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information related to SSE, its affiliates and ownership
- Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges
- Familiarity with SAP products preferred
- Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 5+ years of experience in an administrative role reporting directly to upper management, with specific experience in managing budgets and expenses
Physical Requirements
- Physically navigate stairs and catwalks at SSE facilities during normal work hours and events with or without accommodation
- Ability to bend at the waist, reach overhead and lift up to 40 lbs. with or without accommodation
- Communicate via phone and email with a variety of individuals
- Ability to sit, stand and utilize a computer for extended periods of time
At this time, all SSE employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to working onsite at any SSE facility, unless the individual is able to telework or is otherwise eligible for an exemption in accordance with applicable law. If on-site services are to be performed, SSE will require you to certify your vaccination status as part of the onboarding process

Pay Range
The base salary range for this role is $100,000-125,000 per year
Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
