Department Profile
- Possess strong verbal and written communications skills
- Perform administrative responsibilities to support the team: ordering equipment & office supplies; coordinating employee onboarding tasks; updating seating assignments, process invoices
- Support members of the GSO leadership team when they are arranging more complex meetings; assist with conference room reservations
- A working familiarity with video meeting software platforms (Zoom, GoToMeeting, Webex, Microsoft Team, etc.) and Concur T&E
- Have an ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as needed
- Possess a high degree of social and emotional intelligence
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Handle a full and changing calendar while coordinating the flow of internal and external meetings for a senior member of the team
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and administrative practices and procedures
- Address technology needs for the GSO team as they arise and oversee technology setups for GSO team members
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage sensitive, complex, and confidential information
- Attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to follow-up with a sense of urgency is essential
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills
- Provide overall assistance and support across the GSO team when needed
- A team-player capable of cultivating productive working relationships across the firm
- Handle telephone coverage, travel arrangements (both domestic and international) and gather all necessary documentation for expense reports submissions
