Job Description

The ideal candidate will have had previous experience leading Culture and Inclusion (C&I) efforts at all levels of an organization. The selectee will have a track record of achievement in systems implementation and organizational capability improvement. Results in diverse employee retention, progression, and utilization should show positive trends under their watch. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different business units.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating with other division leaders to drive accountability
  • Identifies opportunities for external recognition of division C&I programs
  • Represents C&I at division events
  • Leads annual C&I planning and goal setting for divisions (in conjunction with division and facility leaders), monitors progress and performance
  • Identifies education needs and contributes to development of programs
  • Reports to the CHRO
  • Partners with HR to improve engagement, appreciation, retention, and development strategies
  • Serves as an advisor, bridge builder, strategic leader and partner, enabling leaders across divisions to identify and execute initiatives to effect lasting organizational and cultural changes
  • Manages local supplier efforts and strategic partnerships with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), and local chapters of national partner organization
  • Represents division C&I efforts to partners, suppliers, and community
  • Drives execution of key C&I programs and initiatives across divisions
  • Responsible for the coordination and oversight of colleague network operations
  • Collaborates with talent acquisition to enhance diverse (e.g. race, ethic, cultural, socio-economic, background, or experiences) talent pipeline
  • Leads C&I efforts across multiple divisions/functions, provides strategic oversight and is responsible for ongoing operations


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in C&I or related fields required
  • Time in office is flexible with work from home options available
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Program development and execution preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading large scale change efforts or strategic programs preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic planning and group facilitation preferred
  • Master's degree preferred
  • This job may require up to 35% travel
