Job Description
Description

Here at Sinch, no matter who or where you are you’ll be able to drive high impact initiatives. With presence in more than 60 countries, whether you know us or not, you’ve definitely used our tech.

Growing both organically and through M&A, Sinch's core values are Dream Big, Win Together, Keep it Simple and Make it Happen. These values describe how our global organization works and inspire every one of our more than 4,000 employees.

Now we’re looking for a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) Leader that will help us build an increasingly inclusive workplace environment so that our talents thrive!

The essence of the role

We believe that diversity, equity and inclusion makes us win together; it means more thoughtful, impactful teams, and when all employees can bring their full potential, we can achieve more! We want to drive positive change in everything we do - for our people, for all people and for the world we live in.

So, as our DEI Leader, you’re a go-getter, who will actively work on developing, delivering and implementing a DEI strategy and initiatives throughout all the steps of our employee life cycle.

For this position it’s very important that you are communicative, with international and global work experience.

As Our New DEI Leader, You’ll

  • Be a collaborative partner and trusted advisor to relevant team members and leaders across the company to effectively define and deliver DEI priorities
  • Build a plan (together with People Development) to advise leaders to cultivate an inclusive workplace environment
  • Partner with internal communications, sustainability and employer branding to create and broadcast a cohesive internal and external narrative and brand
  • In partnership with the colleagues in the HR team, help develop Sinch Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) strategy that supports our organizational values and business goals
  • Assess our needs to develop and implement solutions that promote DEI processes across the employee life cycle
  • Maintain a high level of expertise around best practices in diversity, equity, and inclusion; stay on top of trends and current research from a global perspective
  • Review current practices and policies, assessing and analyzing the extent to which they support or hinder Sinch’s diversity, equity and inclusion goals, and develop metrics to track progress of efforts
  • Develop and implement a DE&I strategy and activities on a companywide level

Requirements

  • A hands-on person, who works to make things happen
  • High energy and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Ability to influence all levels of an organization to achieve goals while demonstrating collaborative style
  • Have solid experience in developing and successfully implementing DEI strategy and initiatives in global companies
  • Based in the United States, either in Atlanta, Chicago or San Antonio and willing to work a hybrid work model
  • Global DEI experience
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in event planning and project management
  • Must have working knowledge of US compliance requirements and how they align with the overall DE&I initiative.

Benefits

Sinch is a global company composed of people from different countries and cultures. Our benefits adjust regionally to support employees and help them to thrive in every stage of life. We offer valuable benefits and resources, including health and life insurance, a flexible work environment, retirement savings plans, and more.

Our Hiring Process.

Our Talent Acquisition team, together with hiring managers and the rest of the interviewing team, persistently work towards identifying the candidates that best fit each open job, based on Sinch’ s hiring needs and candidates’ career expectations.

We encourage applications from strong candidates with relevant professional backgrounds for this role. Not all applicants will meet all job requirements exactly! Even if you do not meet all job requirements, don't let that stop you from considering Sinch for the next step in your career. We are always open to candidates that could bring new ideas and perspectives to Sinch!
