Who are we?
Named by the Financial Times as the fastest growing consultancy in Europe, Kubrick exists to help solve the world’s digital skills emergency. We create our own data, AI and cloud workforce by finding and training today’s brightest mind in our industry-leading programs, who go on to deliver projects with our portfolio of world-leading clients. Founded in London in 2016, Kubrick expanded its services to the US market in 2022 to continue its fast-growth trajectory.
We have ~2000 employees across the UK and the US, and this will grow to over 4000 in the next 3 years.
The Role
As a Marketing and Events Executive, you will help elevate our brand and expand our offering and services across the US, with a focus on our student and alumni engagement within our partner universities. You will help create content and events which reflect our values, celebrate our diversity, and demonstrate the true value of our service to help our consultants unleash their potential.
The position is based in our NYC office, with the opportunity to travel across the US to visit our partner universities and manage on-campus events. You will also gain exposure to our clients and technology partners, building skills and domain knowledge to create comprehensive marketing materials and thought leadership which explore large-scale sector challenges.
Key elements of the role and competencies:
Reporting to the Partnerships and Marketing Manager, you will:
- Document Kubrick’s projects and their impact for both candidates and clients through the creation of case studies and relevant collateral
- Support Kubrick’s DEI initiatives, including our Diversity Champions and Women’s Networks, to promote their events and impact
- Organize, execute, and report on the outcomes of virtual and in-person events with our university partners to engage potential candidates, covering a range of topics and formats including information sessions and interview panels
- Support the organization and execution of industry events such as conferences, breakfast briefings, and round tables with clients and technology partners to drive lead generation and brand elevation
- Create engaging copy and media to amplify our key messages on our website, social media, and in direct communication with our university partners, including campaigns, blogs, and podcasts
What will we need from you?
- Keen interest in data, AI and cloud technology and its role in society and industry
- Excellent communication skills and confidence with public speaking and networking
- Highly organized with the ability to execute events and balance multiple projects, with ability to demonstrate problem-solving and ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances
- Creativity with strong copy writing skills and design is essential
- Empathetic team player with an eye for detail
- Competency in design with Canva and/or the Adobe suite; experience in videography, photography, and/or podcast editing is desirable.
- Analytical and communication skills to document outcomes and present results to senior stakeholders, with competency using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
What will you get from us?
- A collaborative, supportive working environment – We are a team (and a company) that loves what we do and supports, as well as challenges, each other!
- 401k and company match
- Confidential wellbeing and mental health support
- 26 days of PTO (15 days of PTO plus 11 days federal holidays), plus paid sick days
- Training and qualification opportunities within the marketing, design, and content creation sphere.
- Opportunity to accelerate your career in a fast-growth business with significant scope and business impact, collaborating with senior stakeholders across the US and UK
- Medical, dental and vision insurance
- Competitive remuneration: Salary of $70,000 plus an annual performance bonus of up to 10%
