Job Description
H2 Collective is a DC-based hospitality group behind some of the most popular food and beverage venues in the area, such as Crimson Whiskey Bar, Brighton on the Wharf, and The Owl Room. With more than a dozen locations in the DC metro area, we are always looking for motivated leaders and innovators.
Job description:
The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to meet deadlines, an unwavering attention to detail, and a positive attitude will ensure your success in this multifaceted role. Willingness to develop and implement new methods for improving effectiveness and efficiency in the event planning and logistics process is extremely important.
This is an entry-level position, and we will provide training for all tasks. Restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage all facets of the event process including planning and implementation timelines for small (from 10 guests) to large events (up to 400 guests)
  • Ensure file organization based on office protocol
  • Work with internal and external vendors to create innovative events
  • Provide ad hoc support to the Events Manager as needed
Qualifications and Skills
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Proficient in Google Suite & Microsoft Office Suite
  • Weekend and evening availability required
  • Ability to multitask and work independently and/or in a collaborative team
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills with specific focus on phone and email etiquette

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19 per hour plus commission for events worked
Schedule:
  • Flexible Schedule - 10-20 hours per week to start with the potential to turn into a full-time position
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Washington, DC 20001: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
