Job Description
Summary

There's an exciting new opportunity available for Parking and Event Program Assistants at Marymoor Park! Marymoor Park hosts a variety of diverse special events during spring, summer and early fall. Working in this position will allow you the opportunity to provide excellent customer service and general park and event information to the diverse event attendees and park patrons. This position will also allow you opportunities to work in other business units around the park, and choose the events that works best for you, so that you may have a more flexible schedule throughout the week and weekends.

Job Duties

Core Work Duties
  • Reconcile daily cash received and prepare deposit for banking.
  • Collect parking fees from vehicles entering assigned event parking lots.
  • Provide information on events or other park activities and services.
  • Provide customer service to park customers via in-person, email or phone.
  • Reconcile cash received for event parking against the value of parking tickets sold and justify any discrepancies.

Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills

Minimum Qualifications (Must Haves):
  • Data entry experience desired.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with other employees.
  • Basic math skills with an understanding of general accounting procedures.
  • Skill in providing excellent customer service to a diverse customer base.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft office.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully.
  • Demonstrates skill in providing and following oral and written instructions.

Supplemental Information

Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced, diverse position that requires long hours outdoors in all types of weather.
  • Work Location: Marymoor Park, 6046 W. Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE in Redmond, WA
  • Work Schedule: Hours depend on event, typically 4 – 6 hours, availability needed for weekdays, weekends, evenings.
  • Union Representation: This position is not represented by a union.
  • FLSA Status: This position is non-exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is overtime eligible.
