Environmental Communications Specialist

The Opportunity:

To grow effectively, organizations need help looking at their operation from the outside. Whether standing up a new organization, transforming an existing one, or transitioning an organization, including mergers or split-up, our clients need a consultant who will take the time to learn the complexities of their mission and provide them with tangible advice on business process improvements, mission success, and standard methodologies.

That’s why we need you, a management consultant who can analyze every aspect of your customer’s operations and give them the roadmap to becoming the organization they envision. As a general management consultant on our team, you’ll develop an overall picture of your client’s current structure, day-to-day operations, and outcomes in a manner that they may not have thought of before.

On our team, you’ll use discussions and workshops with stakeholders and clients to identify the elements that work best in their environment and the areas for improvement. Once you have a thorough understanding of where and how the organization can improve, you’ll work on a path forward with your client.

This is your chance to gain experience in climate and energy programs while learning new consulting skills.

Work with us as we help the defense climate and energy programs evolve.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

You Have:

  • Experience with project management
  • Experience in climate or environmental science
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications
  • Experience with using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • 2+ years of experience in strategic communications
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Experience with financial data analysis
  • Experience in developing communications strategies

Nice If You Have:

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to distill, summarize, and articulate large volumes of information to meet the different needs of internal and external audiences
  • Experience with DOD communications strategies and guidance
  • Ability to be adaptable to change
  • Experience with building and managing successful projects within a highly matrixed organization
  • Ability to be highly organized and comfortable with managing multiple work streams at once
  • Ability to take the initiative to analyze, query, and problem solve
  • Ability to be a quick learner
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with networks both internally and externally

Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
