Communications Specialist Jobs

Key Role:

Prepare publication materials, employee communications, newsletters, bulletins, and informational materials for internal or external audiences. Conduct limited audience research to make recommendations about outreach opportunities and stakeholder engagement activities. Work under the direction of senior staff and create or contribute to talking points, executive communications, and Microsoft PowerPoint briefings.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to develop cohesive and visually compelling presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
• Ability to identify improvements in the client's processes or offerings and recommend solutions
• Experience building and maintaining client relationships
• Experience producing client-ready products and ensuring the team delivers exceptional service and products
• Experience with writing and editing, including tailoring content to different audiences' needs and level of understanding
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree
• Knowledge of various style guides and rules of grammar and punctuation

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with change communications and digital or social media
• Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills, including developing PowerPoint presentations
• Experience with government consulting

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
