As a Trainee Travel Consultant, you'll be part of an exclusive training cohort, a close-knit group of aspiring agents, on a four-week immersive training program. Not only will you be compensated for your time, but we'll also provide you with all the necessary tools and resources. Once training is complete, you'll continue your journey alongside experienced mentors and trainers.

About
Your role as a Travel Consultant is about channeling your communication skills and customer service fervor into a range of thrilling tasks
Crafting extraordinary travel experiences that exceed expectations, from booking domestic and international flights to arranging hotel and car accommodations.
Fluent communication of reservation details and fare guidelines to clients, both written and spoken.
Building robust customer relationships that align with our vision of being the go-to partner, making travel seamless while delivering exceptional service.
Harnessing your problem-solving prowess to tackle client issues and concerns.
Informing clients about new and existing preferred vendors, enriching their travel experience.
Engaging in comprehensive online and classroom training, covering customer service, intricate domestic and international exchanges, complex fare components and reservations, and mastering company technology.
Flourishing in a results-driven environment, striving to not just meet but surpass goals in transactions, accuracy, and customer service benchmarks.
Your Skills And Attributes
We're on the lookout for candidates who embody these essential qualities:
High school diploma or equivalent, with some college background being a plus.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
A deep-rooted dedication to customer service, coupled with impeccable follow-up, attention to detail, multitasking, and active listening skills.
Basic understanding of global geography.
Six months to a year of experience in an industry or customer-oriented role.
Proficiency in computer usage and software applications.
Familiarity with GDS systems considered advantageous.
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE
TRAINING HOURS: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST.
POST-TRAINING HOURS: 2nd shift, from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Your final schedule might include a Saturday and/or Sunday.
Additional Insights
This is a REMOTE position that necessitates a dedicated workspace, free from distractions.
High-speed internet access is essential at your remote work location. We'll provide the necessary equipment.
While primarily remote, one week of training in our Duluth office and occasional week-long visits (2 to 3 times a year) will be part of your journey.
